Welcome to the Red Hatters Blog Hop hosted by Dusti from Scrappin With Cricut! And if you’re new to LGP, I’m so glad you’ve stopped by and are participating in the hop! My name is Lindsey and I’ve been scrapbooking since 1999 and just started card making last year. I recently became a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, and would be so appreciative if you would visit my SU! website here. The Sale-A-Bration is going on now, and you can get awesome, free product with every $50 you spend!
I actually had recorded a video for my YouTube channel for this blog hop, but I have been having trouble uploading it. It seems like every other video I try and upload I have issues with. Any suggestions/solutions welcome! If I get it to upload before Sunday, I’ll post it.
If you’re following the hop, you should have gotten here from Deanna’s blog, and once you’re done here, continue over to Sue’s blog. Here’s the entire list of the Blog Hop participants.
Dusti at Scrappin With Cricut
Deanne at Deanne’s Creative Juice
Deanna at Deanna’s Paper Crafts
Lindsey at La Georgia Paperie
Sue at Sue in CT
Ruby at Handcrafted Simply By Us
Bunny at Bunny Runs with Scissors
Jillian at The Princess and the Paper
Jessica at Chick-n-Scrap
Here is what I came up with for the hop!
As you can see, I made an A2 sized card (which is simply an 8.5”x11” sheet of cardstock, and then folded in half!). Here are the supplies I used to make the card:
-Red, purple, cream and black cardstock
-Amy Butler paper
-Swiss Dots and Polka Dots Cuttlebug folders
-Red and purple bling
-Red embroidery floss
-Fired Brick, Dusty Concord and Pumice Stone Distress Inks
-Fiskars edge punch
-Heidi Swapp Distress Tool
-“Thankful for You” stamp
-Black embossing powder
Along with all the supplies mentioned above, I used my Forever Young Cricut cartridge. I cut the girl out at 4.75” and the hat at .5” and then put it all together! I am pleased with how the card turned out, and it was fun to really put my Distress Inks to use, I don’t typically do this much distressing on a project.
What blog hop would be complete with some blog candy? This is my very first giveaway, and here is what you can win!
You’ll get 2 Inkadinkado stamp sets and 2 stamp pads! To win, all you have to do is leave a comment on this blog post with your email address. Unfortunately this giveaway is only open to US residents, and if you don’t include your email address, you won’t qualify to win. One comment per person please. And as I mentioned, I just became a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, so if you make a purchase through my SU! website you’ll get an extra entry for every $25 you spend! So you potentially have unlimited chances to win! The giveaway will close Monday, March 14th at 10pm CST. I will draw the winner by Tuesday, March 15th.
Thanks for hopping with the Red Hatters Blog Hop, and good luck with the blog candy!

Wow Lindsey – this is fabulous! I love that cart, though I don’t own it …. yet 🙂 I wish I could go in and order tons of stuff from SU – most of my stamps are from SU but are old sets – but unfortunately I am on a spending freeze at the moment. So no Sale-a-bration for me this year 😦 Happy to be hopping with you all though.
