Turk Doggy Dog

We’ve been doing pretty good on the WW plan so far. Tonight we had turkey dogs for dinner. I haven’t had a hot dog since I gave up red meat last March, nearly a whole year! I don’t know if I’d ever had a turkey dog before, but it was pretty good! We used Healthy Life hot dog buns and I added  a fat free slice of American cheese along with some ketchup, mustard and relish.

I was wrong, every thing pictured is 6 points... oops!

I don’t post every card I make, and I usually find it tacky to post sympathy cards. But, I’m going to make an exception because I made this card for a fellow blogger.

For this card I used some papers from my scrap stash (Big Lots and DCWV I think). I cut the bamboo from the Life Is A Beach Cricut cartridge and Glimmer Misted the leaves with Forest Green. I then stamped the sentiment and embossed it with the Gold A La Mode powder.

I made this card for Amy and her family from Transplanted Thoughts, who recently lost one of their little boys. If you get a chance, read her blog, it’s heavy, heartbreaking stuff.

And don’t forget, I’m hosting The Winter Blues Handmade Card Swap! If you’re interested in participating, email me at lageorgiapaperie@gmail.com with your mailing address, and blog/YouTube page if you have either. I’m super excited about it and have gotten quite a bit of interest so far, but there is always room for more!
