Adhering Small Pieces: A Project

I recently purchased the Xyron X Create-A-Sticker machine. It will turn any paper piece up to 1.5” wide in to a sticker, so no more awkwardly trying to glue teeny tiny pieces together! Here’s a pictorial on how to get the most out of the X.

Along with the X, I recommend getting an adhesive eraser; mine is from EK Success

You’ll need something to adhere together; I’ve chosen the paisley from the Stretch Your Imagination Cricut cart.

Insert your piece in to the X, right side up.

Turn the machine around, and pull out the adhesive, and tear off like any roll of tape

Rub around the piece to secure it to the adhesive

Pull off the top layer of tape, and then pull off the newly made sticker

As you can see, there is still some adhesive in between the holes in the paper

Put the two pieces together

Take the adhesive eraser and rub it over the excess adhesive

Ta da! The piece is now adhered and we didn’t have to deal with any sticky, gluey mess!

I really recommend the Xyron X Create-A-Sticker machine, especially if you use it with an adhesive eraser. It is inexpensive too, I think I bought it for around $9, and the refills on adhesive run around $6.
