Happy Birthday!

It was my fiance’s birthday yesterday and of course, I had to make him a card! I used the Wild Card cart for both the fonts and cupcake icons.

For this project I used:

-4 different Prima Marketing, Inc. papers
-Ink pens (used with daubers to give a dimensional effect to the elements)
-Ranger Crackle Accents
-Foam Pop Dots

To get the look on the flame of the candle I first cut it out in yellow paper with the Cricut and cut off the candle part. Then I took an orange ink pen, and using a dauber I inked the edges of the flame to give it a more realistic look. Then I took the Ranger Crackle Accents and put on a good thick coat, and just waited for it to dry. And voila! I then attached it to the original candle I cut out.

Antonio loved the card, obviously :).

Ohhhh, and I got my Custom Crops package today! So excited for the new carts, Joys of the Season, Doodle Charms and Stretch Your Imagination. Can’t wait to use them, I already have a half way finished project that I plan on finishing up with the Doodle Charms cart this weekend.
